Yes, the lure of distractions when working from home can be hard to resist. We all have them: the siren’s call of the television or telephone….a good book that’s just gotten to a juicy part….unexpected company…..a beautiful day outside that seems perfect for going fishing or playing golf….the kids…your spouse….etc. etc. etc.
It’s hard to resist all the temptations that come at you from every angle, but resist you must!
Make yourself a reasonable schedule. Don’t set yourself a schedule that is too difficult to maintain. You need something that’s realistic and do-able, otherwise you’ll find yourself not doing it.
Many people with dropshipping online businesses or other ecommerce ventures find that a reward system works very well for them.
For example, set yourself a quota of work that must be done, according to your schedule.
If you accomplish that work within the time allotted for it, with time to spare; quit for the day.
Go fishing. Play with the kids. Watch TV. Finish that book.
But only after your work for the day is done.
You must be a hard taskmaster with yourself to be successful in your own home dropship business, but the rewards are great!
